You probably have no idea who I am or that I’ve been in this exact place before. Meet the new blog, same as the old blog? Maybe, but I am certainly not the same person.
A good friend of mine introduced me to the idea of blogging in the early 2000’s. Since then, I have started, deleted, reclaimed and then redeleted my blogging attempts. My previous blogspot accounts will not be updated anymore. Due to recent events in my life, I feel it is time to start something new (I’ll get more into those events as time goes by).
Why a blog? Why not just use a social media app like Instagram or Facebook. I do use those tools, but I feel they spawn a perceived need for immediate response, that sometimes influences my content choices and responses. Blogging feels slower, more precise and more diary like. The whole world shouldn’t be responding to a diary instantly or maybe at all.
So what will this new blog be? I don’t know; maybe diary-ish, but perhaps it will mostly be a vault for me to offload some of my ideas, plans and projects. I only guarantee one thing, it will be awesome, but sporadic. OK that’s two things. Maybe just, awesomely sporadic; yeah, that’s totally me...and I’m ok with that.
